Chicago Symphonic Winds passionately advocates for music and arts education in order to help students create, perform, and respond with confidence in musical settings, as well as to help them successfully navigate the opportunities and challenges of their environment to become successful community members and 21st century citizens.
CSW has partnered with band programs, community programs, and other non-profit organizations throughout Chicago to help instill a life long appreciation for music and elevate awareness for music and the arts. Each program and clinic is customized to best serve the unique needs of each group, and covers topics ranging from instrumental performance, to spatial and eurythmic exploration, to historical and cultural influence.
“This is a great experience for the kids to see and interact with professionals right here in their city."

"I was fortunate enough to pop into a couple of sessions and was so impressed with the patience and instruction the CSW performers and teachers exhibited."
-- Jeff Melsha, Band Director, Kirkwood High School
“They were amazing, the things they could do with their instruments were amazing, and I would most definitely consider doing what they do because I love the music. They were super down-to-Earth and gave great advice to the people in the band about ways to help their playing.” -- Kristopher H., Band Student, Morgan Park High School
